Bharti-backed OneWeb has inked an agreement with New Space India Ltd (NSIL), the commercial arm of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), to launch its low-earth orbit (LEO) satellites.
The first launch with NSIL is likely this year from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC)-SHAR, Sriharikota
OneWeb plans to have a constellation of 650 satellites in low-earth orbit to offer communication services.
