Popular Odia singer Murali Mohapatra collapsed and died while performing at a Durga Puja cultural event in Koraput district of Odisha.
He died of heart attack.
He was also known as Akshya Mohanty of Jeypore.
Murali, was working as a clerk at the office of Jeypore Sub-collector, before trying his luck in singing.
He was 59 year old.
