  • The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has appointed Sohini Rajola as the Executive Director in charge of its development. 
  • Rajola, who was the Head of Asia-Pacific for Western Union's international remittance, will now be responsible for the adoption of NPCI's payment solutions across the country. 
  • She will also be responsible for managing strategic alliances and partnerships with banks, fintech firms, government authorities, and regulatory bodies. 
  • Rajola has worked for over a decade as the head of digital banking and cards at Axis Bank.
