The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has appointed Sohini Rajola as the Executive Director in charge of its development.
Rajola, who was the Head of Asia-Pacific for Western Union's international remittance, will now be responsible for the adoption of NPCI's payment solutions across the country.
She will also be responsible for managing strategic alliances and partnerships with banks, fintech firms, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Rajola has worked for over a decade as the head of digital banking and cards at Axis Bank.
