  • Noted art director Sunil Babu died at a private hospital due to a cardiac arrest.
  • He was 50. Babu had worked for many hit movies in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu industries.
  • Babu was also the art director in Bollywood movies and is also associated with the upcoming Tamil movie Varisu starring Vijay.
  • He also won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Art Director for the drama film ‘Ananthabhadram’.
  • As a production designer, Sunil Babu is well known for the Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Sita Ramam’, ‘Operation Romeo’, ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, ‘Maharshi’, and ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’.
