The Nobel Prize in Economics was announced by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in October, 2023.
The Nobel Prize in Economics for the year 2023 has been awarded to Professor Claudia Goldin of Harvard University.
Goldin is the third woman to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics.
Claudia Goldin has provided the first comprehensive account of women's earnings and labor market participation over centuries.
His research reveals the causes of change and the main sources of male-female differences.
She has written a book on 'Gender in the Economy'.
The first Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in the year 1969.
