  • The title was previously held by Nepal's Khagendra Thapa Magar.
  • The overall shortest person in the world is the shortest living female living (mobile), Jyoti Amge from India. At 62.8 centimetres (2 feet 0.72 inches), Jyoti has held the record since 2009.
