Recently NATO has announced that it will help the allies in purchasing 'Patriot Air Defense Missile System'.
1000 'Patriot Air Defense Missile Systems' will be purchased by NATO allies.
This missile system will be deployed in the countries bordering Russia.
In view of the Russia-Ukraine war, NATO has deployed the Patriot air defense missile system to protect its eastern allies.
The Patriots missile defense system is used to defend against cruise and ballistic missiles as well as enemy aircraft.
It is a long range air defense missile system.
The Patriot was first inducted into the US Army in the year 1982.
