  • Veteran Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) 2026 for his five-decade contribution to Indian cinema. The award was presented at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi by Delhi’s Honorary Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
  • Known for his versatility and mass appeal, Balakrishna has starred in numerous successful films. A special screening of his acclaimed film ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ (Best Telugu Film at the 71st National Film Awards) was held. In 2025, he received the Padma Bhushan. Balakrishna credited his father N.T. Rama Rao’s influence on social reforms and expressed gratitude for the recognition.
