The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with Advanced Weapon Equipment India Ltd. (AWEIL) for 463 12.7 mm Stabilised Remote Control Guns (SRCG) for the Indian Navy and Coast Guard, valued at Rs. 1752.13 crores.
This move aims to enhance maritime security by enabling precise targeting of small threats.
