Mizoram, in partnership with NITI Aayog, will organize the “Mizoram Tourism Conclave” to boost tourism growth in the Northeast. The decision came after a meeting between Tourism Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar and NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul. The conclave will bring together government, industry, academia, and service providers to strengthen tourism infrastructure and local livelihood. Improved rail connectivity to Sairang has already increased tourist arrivals. The conclave will coincide with a ginger produce consultation event to promote sustainable tourism and agri-entrepreneurship.
