  • The awardees will receive their awards from the President of India at a specially organized function at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 17th January, 2025.
  • Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award 2024: Conferred to Gukesh D (Chess), Harmanpreet Singh (Hockey), Praveen Kumar (Para-Athletics), and Manu Bhaker (Shooting).
  • Arjuna Awards 2024: Given for outstanding performances in sports, with notable winners including Jyothi Yarraji, Nitu, Vantika Agrawal, Salima Tete, and several others across disciplines like athletics, boxing, chess, and para-sports.
  • Dronacharya Awards 2024: Recognized coaches include Subhash Rana (Para-Shooting), Deepali Deshpande (Shooting), Sandeep Sangwan (Hockey) in the Regular Category, and S Muralidharan (Badminton), Armando Agnelo Colaco (Football) in the Lifetime Category.
