In October, 2023, Mahila Thana located in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, has been awarded ISO certificate.
It has become the first women police station in the country to get ISO certificate.
It has been awarded '9001:2015' ISO certification.
Bhopal Mahila Police Station has been made 'victim friendly'.
A swing house has also been built for children and more than five toilets have been built.
A breastfeeding room has also been made for women.
This certificate has been given to Bhopal Mahila Police for 3 years.
This certificate is awarded by the International Organization for Standardization.
This organization was established in the year 1947.
