Madhya Pradesh will observe 2026 as the ‘year of agriculture’ to boost farming and allied sectors. The State’s agriculture budget has risen to over ₹27,000 crore, supporting technology, marketing, and income enhancement for farmers. Initiatives like e-Mandi in 259 markets and Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana aim to expand dairy and animal husbandry. Major rural infrastructure projects are also planned to strengthen the rural economy.
