  • The Madhya Pradesh cabinet has approved the proposal for a new public transport service 'Chief Minister Easy Transport Service' under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. 
  • The aim of this step is to strengthen rural, urban, and inter-city bus services in the state. 
  • Under this initiative, the government will not purchase buses itself, but will partner with private operators under the PPP model. 
  • A total of ₹101.20 crore has been approved as equity for this transport service.
