  • Legendary Malayalam singer and National Award winner P Jayachandran has passed away at the age of 81. 
  • On 9 January 2025, Jayachandran breathed his last at a private hospital in Thrissur, Kerala. 
  • P. Jayachandran has influenced many generations by singing more than 16,000 songs. 
  • His voice has crossed boundaries and proved his voice in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. Despite the challenges of age, there was youthful charm in his voice that was able to stir romantic hearts to the end.
