The Tourism Department in Kargil, Ladakh organized the ethnic food festival 'Mamani' at Chiktan Shagaran on January 21, 2023, bringing together a diverse gathering of local authorities, cultural enthusiasts, and residents.
Executive Councilor Er. Punchok Tashi highlighted the significance of traditional festivals like 'Mamani' in promoting communal harmony, brotherhood, and preserving the rich culture, heritage, and traditions of Ladakh.
The festival showcased various ethnic foods and artifacts, with stalls set up by residents from different villages in Shakar Chiktan Block. The event not only celebrated cultural diversity but also provided a platform for local talent
