  • Army achieved an outstanding feat by topping the gold medal table at the Khelo India Winter Games 2024.
  • In this games, Uttarakhand's Mehak won the gold medal in women's paralal slalom and Uttarakhand secured fifth place in skiing events with three gold medals.
  • Excluding Maharashtra, Karnataka finished second with a medal shortfall. Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh also performed well.
  • The active participation of the Olympians and the technical aspects of the game were successfully managed by the Sports Authority of India, with the role of six Olympians namely Shiva Keshavan and Arif Mohammed Khan being highly significant.
