The budget prioritizes welfare programs, with an increased allocation of ₹1,20,373 crore, aiming to uplift marginalized sections of society.
The Karnataka government has earmarked ₹52,000 crore for five guarantee schemes, aiming to empower citizens economically and socially.
An emphasis on women-centric schemes is evident, with ₹86,423 crore allocated for initiatives aimed at their empowerment and well-being.
The budget also addresses challenges such as GST losses, proposing revisions in tax slabs, digitization of services, and the introduction of new social security schemes.
