Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda launched two schemes of the Tripura government, the Chief Minister's Girl Child Prosperity Scheme and the Chief Minister's Girl Self-Reliance Scheme, on March 9, 2023, which focus on the empowerment and development of the state's girls.
Ajay Seth, a 1987-batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre, has been appointed as the new Finance Secretary, replacing Tuhin Kanta Pandey.
