  • Students at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will now also study and study Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The university has decided to open a center for Hindu, Buddhist and Jain studies.
  • The proposal was passed in the Executive Council meeting on May 29. Now JNU has issued a notification on this.
  • The JNU administration has issued a notification to open three new centers. Accordingly, it has been decided to open these three centers under the School of Sanskrit and Indic Studies. These will be the Centre for Hindu Studies, Centre for Buddhist Studies and Centre for Jain Studies.
