  • Achieving a significant milestone, Japan has now joined the exclusive club of nations that have accomplished a gentle landing on the moon.
  • On the morning of January 20, 2024, the Smart Lander for Investigating Moon, affectionately known as SLIM, executed a precise landing within its designated zone adjacent to the Shioli crater, positioned to the south of the lunar equator.
