  • Millions of people have used ChatGPT since it launched in November 2022.
  • It can answer questions using natural, human-like language and it can also mimic other writing styles, using the internet as it was in 2021 as its database.
  • Italy's data protection authority has accused OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, of stealing the data of its users.
  • With this, Italy has become the first country to ban ChatGPT over privacy concerns. Whereas in China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran, OpenAI has deliberately decided to remain inaccessible.
