The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully carried out the landing mission of its Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) 'Pushpak' from the Aeronautical Test Range (ATR) in Challakere, Karnataka.
The launch vehicle was lifted by an Indian Air Force helicopter to an altitude of about 4.5 km and launched after achieving predetermined parameters.
The mission is part of the space agency's efforts to develop technologies required for a fully reusable launch vehicle to enable low-cost access to space.
ISRO's achievement highlights advancements in navigation, control systems, and energy management for future orbital re-entry missions.
