·       International Translation Day is celebrated every year on 30 September to commemorate Bible translator Saint Jerome, who is considered the patron saint of linguists.

·       The main objective of this day is to raise awareness about the languages ​​that play an essential role in the development of the translation industry and our society.

·       Almost a year after COVID-19, the theme of this year has been kept as "United in Translation".

·       The first formal ITD ceremony is recorded in 1991.
