Recently ISRO Chairman S. Somnath has announced that ISRO will launch 50 satellites in the next 5 years.
These satellites will be used to meet military needs.
With this, India will remain the leader in case of any conflict in space.
These satellites will be able to detect various activities from a range of thousands of kilometers.
ISRO will place satellites in different orbits of the Earth.
It will be able to collect pictures of army activity and area of thousands of kilometers.
These satellites will be installed in 3 different orbits.
The names of these orbits are – Geostationary Equatorial Orbit, Low Equatorial Orbit and Very Low Earth Orbit.
ISRO was established on August 15, 1969 AD.
