  • The Indian Navy has joined the Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC) in Hawaii, which is the world's largest naval military wargame.
  • India has deployed its frontline warship, INS Shivalik, for the RIMPAC exercise. The multi-role stealth frigate is currently stationed in Pearl Harbour, Hawaii.
  • RIMPAC involves 29 nations, including India, with 40 surface ships, three submarines, over 150 aircraft, and more than 25,000 personnel participating in training and operations around the Hawaiian Islands.
