  • The Indian Navy has launched the second edition of the IOS SAGAR initiative from 16 March 2026 to enhance maritime cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region. Aligned with the SAGAR vision, the programme includes 16 countries and follows India’s chairmanship of IONS.
