  • India and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to double their bilateral trade to $200 billion by 2032 as part of an expanded strategic partnership.
  • The announcement was made during UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit to New Delhi.
  • Key agreements include a strategic defence partnership, creation of a “House of India” cultural museum in Abu Dhabi, development of digital and data embassies, and investment in Gujarat’s Dholera Special Investment Region. The target builds on the 2022 CEPA, with bilateral trade already crossing $100 billion in FY 2024–25.
