External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced the inclusion of Farsi (Farsi) as one of the nine classical languages in India.
The decision is a part of the New Education Policy (NEP), which signals a move to deepen cultural ties between India and Iran.
The announcement was made during a joint press conference with Jaishankar and his Iranian counterpart H Amir-Abdollahian
Persian has joined the list of classical languages in India
Which acknowledges its historical importance and contribution to India's cultural heritage.
