  • India will provide financial assistance of 990,000 US dollars for the project to enhance the livelihoods of persons with disabilities in Sierra Leone under the India-United Nations Development Partnership Fund. 
  • This project focuses on renovating dedicated centers for persons with disabilities, increasing access to mobility and social services through skills training and technology, and establishing a loan facility for purchasing equipment. 
  • The cooperation between India and Sierra Leone is cordial, and India has so far provided development cooperation of nearly 250 million dollars to Sierra Leone through the Ecowas Bank in various sectors.
