The Ministry of Mines, Government of India, achieves a significant milestone with the signing of an agreement between Khanij Bidesh India Limited (KABIL) and Catamarca Minera y Energética Sociedad del Estado (CAMYEN SE), a state-owned enterprise in Argentina. This key collaboration, signed on January 15, 2024, marks a crucial step in enhancing bilateral cooperation in the mining sector.
The signed agreement between KABIL and CAMYEN SE at Catamarca, Argentina, establishes a bilateral partnership for mining development.
This collaboration, facilitated by the Ministry of Mines, contributes to strengthening ties between India and Argentina while fostering advancements in mineral exploration and energy development.
This is the first ever lithium exploration and mining project by a Government Company of India.
