Humpy narrowly missed a historic third women’s title due to tie-break rules, finishing third with 8.5 points, while Erigaisi secured bronze in the Open section with 9.5 points. Their performances highlighted India’s growing strength on the global chess stage, alongside other notable finishes by Indian players like R. Vaishali, D. Gukesh, Nihal Sarin, and R. Praggnanandhaa.
