The inauguration of the warship Mahendragiri was done by Dr. Sudesh DhanKhada, the wife of Vice President Jagdeep DhanKhada, who was the chief guest at the event.
The warship Mahendragiri is the seventh vessel of Project 17A frigates. It is named after the eastern hill of Mahendragiri, located in the state of Odisha.
