  • Since 2014, the metro network has experienced rapid growth, with the number of cities benefiting from metro services increasing from five to 23, and daily ridership rising from 28 lakh to over one crore. 
  • The total distance travelled by metro trains has also tripled, highlighting the significant expansion of the system.
