India ranks second globally in terms of preparedness for future in-demand skills, excelling particularly in Artificial Intelligence, digital, and green sectors, according to the QS World Future Skills Index 2025.
Developed by higher education specialist QS, the index measures four key points – skills adaptability, academic readiness, the future of work and economic transformation – to evaluate how well countries are equipped to meet the emerging demands of the international job market.
