Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, launched the UPI-UPU Integration Project at the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai. The initiative aims to integrate India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) with the Universal Postal Union’s (UPU) Interconnection Platform, enabling faster, safer, and low-cost cross-border remittances. With this, people across 192 UPU member countries will be able to send money seamlessly through postal networks.
