India has launched the e-Production Investment Business Visa (e-B-4) to facilitate the entry of Chinese business professionals for specified industrial and commercial activities. Introduced from January 1, the fully online visa allows a stay of up to six months and covers production, manufacturing, IT, equipment installation and supply-chain related work. The move reflects India’s effort to cautiously revive business and people-centric engagement with China while supporting industrial operations and investment continuity.
