India and Canada signed a Joint Statement on Energy Cooperation during India Energy Week 2026 in Goa, marking the first visit of a Canadian Cabinet Minister to the event. Union Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri and Canada’s Minister H.E. Timothy Hodgson held bilateral talks and relaunched the India–Canada Ministerial Energy Dialogue, reaffirming cooperation on energy security and supply diversification.
