  • The 13th Ministerial India-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue (EFD) was held in London.
  • India and the UK reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation in the areas of financial services, fintech, and the digital economy, and agreed to continue negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and a Bilateral Investment Treaty.
  • Both sides confirmed their commitment to sustained collaboration in financial services, fintech, the digital economy, and among the relevant regulatory bodies.
  • They also agreed to work together bilaterally and multilaterally to address mutual and global economic issues, including mobilizing affordable finance and investment for low-carbon economic growth, taxation matters, and combating illicit financial flows.
