The 13th Ministerial India-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue (EFD) was held in London.
India and the UK reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation in the areas of financial services, fintech, and the digital economy, and agreed to continue negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and a Bilateral Investment Treaty.
Both sides confirmed their commitment to sustained collaboration in financial services, fintech, the digital economy, and among the relevant regulatory bodies.
They also agreed to work together bilaterally and multilaterally to address mutual and global economic issues, including mobilizing affordable finance and investment for low-carbon economic growth, taxation matters, and combating illicit financial flows.
