  • The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) has achieved a historic milestone by entering the global top 100 in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 for the first time. This reflects India’s rising academic reputation in management education.
  • India overall showed strong progress with 120 new institutions entering the rankings, securing the fourth-largest presence globally after the US, China, and UK. Six Indian institutions featured in the top 100 for computer science. Top performers include IIM Ahmedabad and IIT-ISM Dhanbad at 21st globally in their respective fields. QS evaluates institutions on research, employability, global engagement, and sustainability.
