The government has appointed Deputy CAG Sivasubramanian Ramann as the Chairperson of PFRDA, replacing Deepak Mohanty, with a tenure of five years or until he reaches 65 years of age.
S Ramann, a 1991 batch officer of the Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS), was appointed by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) as per the notification dated April 1, 2025.
