Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away in Gurgaon's Medanta Hospital.
Yadav (82) was under treatment at the hospital since August 22 and was shifted to the ICU on October 2 and was on ventilator support.
The Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and three-time Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav, rose in UP politics in a period of intense social and political ferment after the 1970s.
