DRDO and the Indian Army successfully conducted four flight tests of the MRSAM Army version on April 3–4, 2025, at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha.
The missiles intercepted and destroyed high-speed aerial targets in various scenarios, proving the system’s effectiveness at different ranges and altitudes.
MRSAM is jointly developed by DRDO and Israel Aerospace Industries, and includes multi-function radar, command post, and mobile launcher.
This MRSAM system has been developed jointly by DRDO and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). It includes radar, mobile launcher system and other vehicles.
