The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICICI Bank on September 4, 2025, to boost the startup ecosystem in India. The collaboration aims to empower entrepreneurs and innovators by providing structured support, mentorship, and accelerator access. As part of this initiative, ICICI Bank will launch a Startup Engagement Programme on the Startup India portal to expand outreach and adoption among startups.
