Divyansh Singh Panwar clinched the gold medal in the men's 10m air rifle shooting event at the ISSF World Cup 2024 in Cairo.
Panwar set a new world record score of 253.7 in the finals, surpassing the previous record of 253.3.
Arjun Babuta, another Indian shooter, finished in sixth position in the same event.
Sonam Uttam Maskar secured the silver medal in the women's 10m air rifle competition, marking her debut at the ISSF World Cup.
India's Nancy narrowly missed out on a podium finish, finishing fourth in the women's event.
