The upcoming Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Hyderabad-Bengaluru Expressway will be the first projects in the country to be enabled with an optical fibre cable network as part of India’s National Broadband Mission (NBM).
This OFC infra in turn will provide dark fibre connectivity to telecom operators to provide internet connectivity to remote and far-flung areas.
This will involve development of 18,000 km of OFC infrastructure crisscrossing the length and breadth of the country.
