  • Under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi Cabinet approved the Women Prosperity Scheme on March 8, 2025, which will provide eligible women with financial assistance of ₹2,500 per month, and a budget of ₹5,100 crores has been allocated for this purpose. 
  • This scheme is expected to benefit approximately 1.7 million BPL cardholding women aged 21 to 60.
