  • Defense Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh flagged off the Indian Navy's offshore patrol vessel, INS Sunayna, as an Indian Ocean Ship (IOS) to ensure safety and development in the region, on April 5, 2025, in Karwar, Karnataka. 
  • The Defense Minister also inaugurated modern operational, repair, and logistics facility centers constructed at a cost of over 2,000 crore rupees under Project Seabird.
