The origin of Cyclone "Asani" has been recorded in the Bay of Bengal.
The name 'Asani' has been given by Sri Lanka that means ‘wrath’ in Sinhalese.
Cyclone 'Asani' is the first storm in the North Indian Ocean region in 2022.
The cyclone has been predicted strengthen into a very severe cyclonic storm, with wind speeds reaching 118 to 220 km/hour, and remain over east-central Bay of Bengal.
