Arunachal Pradesh governor Brig. (Dr) B.D. Mishra (retired) took oath as the governor of Meghalaya in addition to position of Arunachal Pradesh.
The senior most Judge of the Meghalaya High Court Justice Hamarsan Singh Thangkhiew administered the oath of office to Mishra at a function at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Shillong.
Mishra replaces Satya Pal Malik, whose tenure expired on October 3.

Brigadier BD Mishra takes oath as Governor of Meghalaya
